Hello! I'm Nico.
CS @ University of Wisconsin–Madison
I have a passion for solving complex problems and creating intuitive solutions. I enjoy many aspects of computing, from ML and AI for predictive analytics to the intricacies of low-level systems, compilers, and computer science theory. My goal is to master the skills needed to become an exceptional software engineer.
About Me in Five Sentences
I grew up in Door County, WI – known for its beautiful tourist summers and snowy Midwest winters. I spent two years as a Research Assistant in Materials Informatics. I co-founded the Wisconsin Quantum Computing Club and I am a coordinator for the Undergraduate Projects Lab. I enjoy the high-intensity environment of Hackathons, having won 2 out of 5, with MIT IQuHACK being my favorite event to date. I love realizing complex ideas and I am committed to continual innovation.
